Three decades in the energy and building services sectors gave founder John Duggan an unmatched understanding of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) market. This included both its strengths, and its weaknesses.

While large companies and institutions enjoyed access to the finest air conditioning services and equipment, smaller businesses and homeowners were left to fly-by-night installers and unscrupulous resellers. Not surprisingly, this kept many from enjoying the benefits of air conditioning, despite the existence of tantalising tax incentives.

In 2002, John began skilfully marshalling his resources in order to address the problem. This began with the enlistment of Ken Stott, an accomplished entrepreneur and business director with vast experience in operational, strategic, project and financial management at top UK energy companies.
